The current population is over 92,000. Allen has 27.10 square miles within its boundaries, all in Collin County, one of the fastest growing counties in the United States. Allen offers great restaurants and shopping and a well regarded school district. Allen and its nearest neighbor, Plano, frequently trade places as numbers one and two on the list of safest cities in America. Allen is also home to a $60 Million football stadium built for it's local teams, because football is king in Texas.
